Introduction
Welcome to third grade!
Let me tell you a little about myself. This is my fourth year teaching third grade at BMES. I grew up near Baltimore (Go Ravens, Orioles, Caps, & Wizards) and graduated from Stevenson University. I have two cats and have taken a liking to owls recently (as you could tell from my classroom decor). From a young age I felt that being a teacher was my destiny. I enjoy educating, interacting with, and learning from children. I am constantly challenging myself to try new and innovative activities that engage all children. I strive to create a safe classroom where all children's ideas and learning styles are valued. I am looking forward to developing a positive rapport with you and your children over the next ten months. Please take a moment to review the unifying questions, focus skills, and content area descriptions for each marking period. It will give you a great overview of what your child will be expected to know and be able to do this year.
